"And now, my beloved brethren, I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth ye will be saved."

Oh gosh what a week, 11 Bap interviews in the bag

Hi everyone! So it is probably mazava ho azy (obvious) but I am writing this letter on Tuesday because this last Monday there was a problem with all of the cybers so we got permission to quickly do our emailing today so this one will have to be a bit quick but here is what happened,

We have been meeting with this less active/ part member family for a while named Bruno and Bernadette and our lessons have been slowly making progress. We learned from one of our visits that one of the reasons that they don't come to church any more is that 1. there was some apparent back biting/ back talk at church and 2. The visits from the Church stopped (such as visiting and home teachers not doing their routes). We talked with them about that and set up a plan where we would discuss with the Branch President about getting those visits going again. It just so happened that our meeting with our Branch President was that same day so we got right on that and this past Sunday in Elders Quorum they were giving out assignments of who would be visiting who, it was awesome to see now heres hoping that things start to pick up.

On Friday I got to go on a split with an elder in my district named Elder Koncurat. I came to Antsirabe at the same time as him and we lived together for a transfer so it was good to catch up with him. The day went well; taught a cool part member family, did some tracting, and ended the day at a members house for a suarré for dinner. While we were waiting we played some Uno with some other elders that work in the other part of our area and that game lasted maybe an hour, everyone just kept putting down draw twos' and such like that (Elder Schroeder had maybe half the deck in his hand!).

Then that Saturday was the day, the day where I had eleven baptisimal interviews scheduled and I was going to do it. The first two were for ELders Tangarasi and Heo, it went well; one passed and the other needs a bit more time but they were all good, I was happy to meet with them. That afternoon I then went on another split with an elder named Elder Garcia and he had the other nine interviewzs lined up to go. I start around six in the evening and don't finish the first family of 4 until around 8 or 8:30. We stop by the other family and decide with them that we will come back in the morning around 8 (Elder Garcia was just wanting to go and do them but as half of the family was already asleep and it was late I chose to do it later). Good news is that all of their people have passed and they will be baptised on this Saturday, I am very excited for them.

That is about it for this week, transfers are this week so we will see if I end up leaving or not, have a great week everyone!
Elder Nelson
